True Oak Ministry Team
Adam Lamle
Adam Lamle Senior Pastor

Adam came to True Oak in January of 2015. He was raised in Tuttle from 4th grade on then left to pursue a dream to play baseball. After four years of college baseball, Adam was drafted by the Texas Rangers and pitched for 3 seasons in the minor leagues making it to AA Tulsa Drillers. After pursuing his dream to pitch in the majors God intervened and called him to preach His Word and be a pastor. Since the age of 26 Adam has served in several churches and by Gods providence has been guided back to his home town. He is convicted to preach verse by verse and to integrate the Bible into the life of all who hear it. Adam has been married to Patti since 1985 and they have 2 grown kids who live in Iowa and Missouri with their families.

Matt Nelson
Matt Nelson Youth Pastor

Matt, Jennifer, Lanee, and Jed moved from Katy, Texas to Tuttle in 2017. Matt and Jennifer both graduated from Alvin High School in Texas in 1994. Matt joined and served in the Air Force for four years after high school. After four years in the USAF, he returned home to Alvin and attended a technical school for two years. At this time Matt and Jennifer met again and have been together ever since. Matt has been employed in the oil field for 19 ½ years. This move to Tuttle was their sixth move in 19 ½ years. Although they are Texans, they now call Tuttle their home. The Nelsons joined True Oak Fellowship in 2021. They were looking for a church and a place to serve in their community, and they found it. Matt submitted his life to Christ in 2008 and has been growing in Christ and serving since 2012. Matt and Jennifer consider it an honor to serve the Lord teaching and guiding True Oak’s youth+ through some of the rockiest and most impressionable times of their lives. Matt is committed to teaching directly from the Word and training the youth of our church to do the same.
